I have many movies that I recorded on VHS and TV with a level recorder, I'm sure it goes over the allotted 120 minutes

Such as VCRs, DVD recorders are more recording modes SP, LP, SLP and save up to 6 hours on a single layer DVD. Of course, the reduction in quality. In general, we recommend the highest quality (analog video is pretty bad for a start), so with a single dual-layer disc will certainly help.
