I was caught and precedence? I felt it could be the false impression that I left quickly when the elevator doors opened. I knew that with crutches, has an impact on mobility, but not by insulting him differently, so I made the right choice to go first?

If only you two in the elevator, then do the right thing would be for the first failure. If his presence would have prevented the oscillation of his crutches, and then comes in the first is just the path.
